Orange Blossom Salad - serves 4
3 navel oranges
4 large leaves of Boston, butter or bibb lettuce,rinsed and dried Orange-flower water or orange liqueur(optional)
1/4 cup slivered almonds toasted
Remove the peel and pith from the oranges.
Cut into 1/4- inch slices. place a lettuce leaf on each salad plate.
Arrange orange slices on top. Put a few drops of orange-flower water or orange liqueur on each slice.
Top with toasted almonds. Serve immediately.
